The comforting soud of raindrops
In the chapel ‘The Perception of Clouds’ one can take shelter while listening to the comforting sound of raindrops hitting the roof tiles. Together with the company Monier, Esther Kokmeijer produced a special kind of handmade tiles with bulges. Through these bulges the tiles produce more sound than usual and amplify a diverse range of tones. The chapel is best experienced during heavy rainfall.
