Atoma are synthetic spices, modelled in cocoa butter to reflect their individual chemical structure. Every flavour, be it natural or artificial, is a combination of molecules. Industry has been using such flavouring molecules for decades, which has contributed to public disapproval of artificiality in food. However, flavouring all products naturally is not a sustainable solution. Atoma aims to create an emancipated consumer by making flavouring science accessible.
