The WaterSchool is a self-initiated project by Studio Makkink & Bey. All members of the studio contribute to WaterSchool. Next to designing themselves, Jurgen Bey and Rianne Makkink have been teaching and lecturing in a large variety of institutes and schools. These activities have made them grow affiliated with a grand group of artists, designers and architects, whom they perceive as their community. Within the WaterSchool project, Studio Makkink & Bey aims to mobilize this community.
